Hi, Excited to be here on your forum.  Looks like an incredible amount of experience and info here!

I have been looking at ordering a Cook's Mountain Archery El Tigre recurve.  The bowyer is Roy Coursey.  However, when I try to email or call him, the email doesn't work and I get a message that his phone number is no longer in service.  Here is the info I got from his website:  phone: 509-965-2143, email: tradlongbow@bentonrea.com

Do any of ya'll know if Roy is still building bows and how I can reach him if so in order to buy one?

Any info would be appreciated...

Thanks guys.  I think I finally found him.  I think he moved to Idaho!  Thanks for all the replys, and I hope to post a little bit over here.  Just getting back into trad bows after many years and looking forward to it.

Roy did indeed move to Idaho.  I happen to shoot Roy's bows, if you need info, feel free to PM me.  JW

I've shot Roy's recurves and longbows and they are about as good as you can get.

I would have bought one last year at a shoot but the dealer did not take credit cards.

Thanks very much guys.  I started out with trad bows 20 years ago, sold them about 10 years ago and went to compounds and now want to go back.  I just love the simplicity and gracefulness of Roy's bows.  I shot one once and have wanted one since and so this will be the bow that gets me back into it if I can get one from him.  I found a new email for him over on *********** and it hasn't bounced back like the other one, so hopefully it will work.  If I need some more help, I'll pm ya JW!

Thank you very much MikeC; I appreciate that.  If I don't hear from him via email soon, I'll give that fella a call.  I'm kind of wanting one built from scratch tillered for 3 under.  Was also thinking of asking for osage limbs and ebony or bubinga in the handle.

bayoulongbowman, here is a link to his site starting with the curves, but his longbows are very nice too.  The takedown recurve is absolutely beautiful, but a little too much for me to spend right now for just getting back into it:   Cook\\'s Mountain
