I have plenty of cherry and would appreciate anyone who might know if it makes good material for glass lambows. How is it for compression and tension? thanks Frank

Hog Wild

I've made several Bows from Cherry. They all turned out to be great shooters.

Sawdust, Wood Chips, and Shavings are as close to Potpourri as I get!!!!!!

Anything is good under glass, main thing is picka pretty wood if its clear glass, which cherry is.

NorthShoreLB

Yeah, how much does it really matter as long it's an hardwood ??
