Howdy yall, i was just wondering are the dryad bow blanks made for fast flight strings? or should i just get the standard stuff. I will prolly shoot carbons this season, and next year switch to wood
Thanks Pintail

Bob Barnes

I'll bet it came with something like D97 or 450+...most of us shoot non stretch strings on our wood bows.

the dryad bow blank does not come with a string. What is non stretch string? never heard of that.

Van/TX

It's a string that doesn't stretch much.  Like 450+ as apposed to B-50 type dacron....Van

get you a nice skinny ...maybe 8 strand...450+ string and it will bring out the best in your new bow.

pintail, I have a fast flight on my first Dryad bow blank and all is well with it. I think Mike said that all his bows are FF compatible...Terry

Yep we build them all to take no stretch type strings (FF, Deneema, 450+ etc.)

Mike

BTW make sure your carbons are in the 9 gr per pound range.  The wood bows don't like real light arrows.
