Manny, you've really got to make one of those Guava bows 62" or less (that's the longest the UK Post office'll take!) 55-60# at 29"  :D  P.P.P.Pleeease!!!  :D

Beautiful as ever mate! I guess the solitude agrees with your creativity!

Manny can I ask you two questions right quick.  You said the boo on the one bow was from a blind?
Second, how do you make the arrow rest you have on your bows?
Great looking bows, wonderful craftsmanship as always

Thanks guys,

LoneWolf, yeah I got those strips of bamboo from a window blind, I don't know if you have them in the mainland but they are real commom here.

Arrow rest ? I usually glue 2 peaces cut from a leather belt, I cut them V shaped, one smaller than the other than with a razor blade take the corners off so it got smooth sides, lately I like to radious the top of the rest, just a nice mellow curve.

What I would give to be able to make bows like that. Wow!

Manny-
Fantastic looking bows.
I especially like the lava stain.  Very creative.
I'v been collecting several different natural earth dyes for a totally primative bow I have floating in my head.

Love the lava stained bow - I did some hiking on Kauai last fall and I've got a bunch of clothes that got stained on that trip - every time I put on a stained pair of socks or a stained t-shirt it takes me back to that trip.  Seeing that lava stained bow took me back there again - thanks...

I really enjoy these build-alongs of yours. I learn something new every time I look at one of your creations. Thanks for sharing Manny. I really admire your skills.
