Is it just me or does everyone else notice that that gorgeous background really makes those Tippit knive's just POP??!!

Jeff, like your knives need any help standing out  :rolleyes:  

I really love that background and find myself anxious for and looking forward to the next one to be displayed on it...the same with Doug's background (his hand holding the knife) such wonderful character in them both!!

Background...New England rock wall with with everything that grows on it  :)

There are about 4 steps...forging, grinding, heat treating, and finish with handle.  Then there's the sheath to be made, just started doing that.  I never just finish a knife from scratch.  Always seem to have a bunch in all stages.  So maybe all total 4-6 hours in a knife unless I do so fancy file work around the entire blade...that takes time!
