Who is in for the coming 2011 season! Who is going for the vintage look in blending in with the surroundings?  Who is just going to wear "street" clothes?

I am wearing a variety in Alaska next month.  But there will be one day...or two, that I will wear my very faded Carhartt tan (almost cream now) pants and my tannish Woolrich plaid wool button down. Camo hat though, either my ASAT boonie hat or my lucky Sonoma Mountain Pack Station store from Spanish Fork, Utah hat.

Guru, I am pretty certain that the "camo" thing has to do with playing with peoples perception of camo and not "the big picture".  Camo, in many folks eyes are representative of something bad.  Plaid is good camo, accepted by folks that are not in the know, as "normal".

I'll be wearing Carharts, plaid shirts, Filson suspenders, Filson packer hat, and my comfy Merrill footwear.

'07 was the last year I wore "camo", I just got so sick of seeing the stuff. I have found it is not needed at all. I have also saved quite a few dollars since I quit buying the stuff.  :D

Gary, the plaid shirt in your avatar is a perfect example of how it breaks up your outline!

Interesting post. I do think it would be extremely difficult to fool a Wild Turkey wearing plaid.

Nu-uh! I love my camo! As an elk hunter I cover a lot of ground and because I am moving so often it is always possible to get pinned in the open by a big bull. In that situation I want something that blends right into the ground. The camo I wear is cheap but it does just what I need it to do, when I need it.

(I am sure plaid would work just as well...I just don't want to shell out more money)

I'm in, as usual....haven't had camo for about, oh, 25 years or so....lol

I've read this over and I think that this isn't really a rebellion against camo, but big business. Its obvious that Plaid is a camo in itself.

I think in the spirit of "camo-less" you guys should not being wearing your plaid either. Solid non-earth tone colors if you really want to prove that "camo" is not needed.

Come on fellas, man up!!! blue Jeans and white t-shirts.

Me, I'm going to support Predator and Ultimatecamo this year and love every second of it.

I was just joking about that never noticed that about my post from 2010. Dry humor needs watered again?
