Beg Ber643 to do a build along. He makes a fine one from what I've seen and been told.

Weasle, If you go to the How to-resources of this site, there is a thread about it. It shows detail instructions.

I am sure that now that deer and elk seasons are over and turkey season is rapidly approaching,  there will be several threads of people posting their wing bone calls.  In fact, just earlier this week I undertook the first step in making a new wingbone call.  That first step is to go to the local Wally World Superstore and pick up a pair of smoked turkey wings and make a big ol' pot of turkey noodle soup.  Makes for some fine eating and you get two sets of wing bones for call making.  Since I happen to have the makings of a few calls sitting in the freezer, I will see if I can document a build along in the next week.  I owe my brother in law a wingbone call so this is a good chance to get it built.

Here is a pic of a few of mine.  I got the one on the bottom with the antler part from Benzy in last years wingbone trade.  The rest I made myself.

So "get thee to a Walmart" (a little bastardized Shakespear there. You know, where Hamlet tells Ophelia "Get thee to a nunnery".  I've got way too much time on my hands...), and pick up the makings of a soup and get the first part done.  The rest to follow.

Thats funny bowmac.  Makes me wonder where they get moth balls from?
I am eagerly awaiting the build along and instructions on how to use it.
I've hunted almost every day of my life.....the rest were just wasted
