bowyers schools ??

guys are ther any schools out there to learn the art of being a bowyer, where you can formally be educated, thanks

mike fedora of fedora's archery used to have one but not sure if he still does.you can contact him from his web site or just google fedora archery.he would be about as good of school to go to as any,he's a top notch bowyer for sure,been around awhile.bingham projects also has some good info on begining bow projects.

You might check out, "Bows of Wood" in Gastonia,N.C. Vincent Minor does schools on building bows.

Dan Toelke is a graduate of Mike Fedoras school and one of the top up and coming bowyers to say the least. Google for him too.

Jim Hamm has a class at his Texas ranch every year. I went a few years ago. A great class by a great teacher.
You can only blow so much smoke until someone will want to see you make fire.
