Those of you who were at Cloverdale last year: how many vendor tents were there?

I'm looking for a Trad Shoot with a lot of vendors.  The only one I've ever been to was ATAR last year in Beckley, WV and I was really disappointed.  The ad for it promised over a hundred vendors.  I only counted 22.

Marblesonac

At least double that (22) at Cloverdale last year.

I have heard the biggest in the East or Midwest is Compton's, but I have not been.  It's the week after Cloverdale in Michigan.

Here is Cloverdales site:

I was going to pass on Cloverdale this year and just go to Compton's, but I just saw that Paul Brunner is the speaker for Saturday night at Cloverdale, so I just may have to go.
Unless you're the lead dog, the scenery never changes....

LBR

Think there's generally around 100 or more vendors at Cloverdale.  Three big circus tents, the muzzleloader range, plus self set-ups all over.  Great shoot for shopping.

The vendor turnout sucked last year at Cloverdale, way way down, half the tents were empty, do yourself a favor if you want vendors go to Compton, we go to Cloverdale for the best course and usually a great speaker, but Compton has it all!!

dino

I have to say that Compton has been growing every year.  Cloverdale used to be larger, but I think that is a thing of the past. dino

I go to both. There are a lot of vendors at both, but I believe more at Compton's
Is it too late to be what I could have been?

NightHawk

I'm with John. I go to both shoots each one is unique even though they are back to back. The range at cloverdale is well setup and challenging. The vendors are usally plentiful and very helpfull.

The compton shoot is set in a place of beauty. The river is magnificent, vendors are also plentiful. The only downfall if comptons has one is the 3d range, but it's more than made up for with the fellowship and seminars

If you can go to both..great.  If you can only go to one...go to Compton!

Don't accept your dog's admiration as conclusive evidence that you are wonderful.

Cloverdale rocks.  It's a huge family gathering of a lot of guys I only get to see once a year.  I'd love to make it to Comptons as well this year.

If you are looking for lots of vendors, go to Denton Hill.  Supposed to be biggest trad shoot in the world.

cjones

I love going to cloverdale. There is a good number of vendors and i really go to see the Otto's. We don't live too far from each other but cloverdale is the only time he will grace us with his presence.  "[dntthnk]"
