Well I've got a new bow on order, trad bug keeps coming back to get me  :biglaugh:

What's your favorite bow mounted quiver for a 3 piece recurve?

Also does anyone remember what the little jig is that mounts to the back side of the riser to hold the arrow on the shelf? It's a little orange-ish red deal.

Lastly what all do you use for a bow hanger while in a hang on stand?

If you go limb bolt style quiver I highly recommend the Great Northern.

It is pretty lightwieght.Which I like in the 3 piece recurves since they are allready heavy enough IMO.

What I like most about them is you can remove them easy because of the hardware. They slide out.

What I do like thee most is that they do slide in or out by simply loosening the screw on the lower and upper part of the quiver that has the hardware that fits under the limb bolt.So if you slide them in close they balance on the bow very well.Sitting close to the riser. Not sticking out to the side as much as other quivers that are bolt on for 3 piece bows.I mount the G.N very close to the riser

I should mention that I'll have antler limb bolts if that makes a difference

I like Selways.  I prefer the side mount, but the limb bolt mount also works fine.  I use a Sta-Jac arrow holder.  I tape the bracket to the side of the bow with double back tape.  Can still find them occasionally on the big auction site.  There are other arrow holders that function the same way.  I can't remember the name of the screw in peg I use to hang my bow.  Looks like a mini-tree step.  The screw folds into the composite hangar piece.  I believe 3-rivers still has them, but now quite pricey, like $15-$20 for one.

Lefties are the only ones who hold the bow in the right hand.

Hi Jacob,
Great Nortern Quiver.
Sta-Jac arrow holder.
I buy the little screw in hangers at the hardware store, cost $.99-1.99 each.  They come in all different colors.  Three River has green/brown ones for for twice that price plus shipping.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Good to hear from you Walt, hope all is well out in Montana! I'll check into the Great Northern, I like the quivers that mount under the limb bolt vs the strap models.
