I finished my arrows yesterday for the upcoming season. Once again, my wife, Leah, did a phenomenal job enhancing my flame cresting. I will be taking these with me on my fall moose hunt and she painted a lot of good juju on them. Go, Team Haverstick!

Specifications: The shafts are 5/16" red balau from Forrester Woodshafts. The fletching came from Ozark Feathers and the broadheads are 190 grain Meatheads. The average arrow weight is 760 grains. They will fly slow but hit like a freight train! I will be shooting them out of a 62" Wild Horse Creek longbow that pulls 54 pounds at 28".

These look fantastic. I've always viewed arrows as a tool, but I love the look of these. Artistic, but not the traditional cap dip/crest.

Good luck on the Moose hunt Darren! Very nice mojo with those arrows. Are those Grizzly broad heads?
Your best shot is only as good as your next one!

Gordon Jabben

Those are very nice!  I'm not familiar with that broadhead but I like the looks of it.

Plenty medicine for our Mooses. Good luck Darren. I'm hunting a different zone this year but will be guiding a friend from Ohio in my old spots.
It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

goingoldskool

Very nice Darren!  I hope they bring you lots of luck!

Good luck,, Shoot straight,  and God bless.

Darren,
Nice looking arrows!
Best of luck on your moose and other hunts this year.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Your arrows look astonishing and I personally think that the broad-head you used is among the best in the world. I have them and love them. Now I cannot wait to hear about your kill, see some pictures and imagine what moose back straps over a campfire taste like!!
