I recently got a Buffalo Crossover, with the plastic inserts.  Took me a couple of weeks to get used to it.  Tried my old glove for two shots, then went back to the Buffalo Crossover.  I like it a lot, and wondered how I ever shot with the old glove!

Terry Green

I can't tell you how many times I've heard that, and how many have bought one of mine after shooting with it.

I bought a Kangaroo Krossover in May and really like it. I just ordered an Elk Krossover  in tobacco, and I'm certain that will be great too. Very well made.

Rick James

Might be interested in trying one of these...Are the inserts in the krossovers removable and how does the krossover compare as far as "string feel" to the big shot with the nylon?
Thanks, Rick

Don't believe the nylon inserts are removable.  They now also have an option of a layer of buffalo leather in place of the nylon for the kangaroo, as least.  This is something that was requested as an option prior to it catching on and being offered.  Personally, I think it is an excellent choice.  Normally, I shoot a nylon faced tab, but for extended sessions of multiple dozens of shots I'll opt for a glove.

I had the opportunity to try a friends Bigshot, with the nylon finger tips.  I liked the glove, although I wanted less string feel, so ordered the Crossover with the plastic inserts. I get very little string feel, and that is what I wanted.  Before they offered different options in the crossover, I had read about some sending them back in to get the plastic inserts removed, or leather inserts added, so they probably could be removed. They offer different leather options for the glove, and several options for the inserts.

All I've ever had is just the nylon.  I don't see a need for plastic stalks at all for me.

What are the plastic stalls for?

I have the Bigshot, as mentioned before.  Good glove.  Also, have the modified Kangaroo Crossover with Buffalo leather as the second layer, and can not speak highly enough of this combination.

The Two Bobnik gloves (Speed and Black) and they were ready day 1.  But I don't see them lasting as long as the American Leather gloves.  American Leather Big Shot may have taken a couple dozen arrows to smooth out.  The Crossover Kangaroo with a mid-layer of buffalo, took less than that.  The kangaroo might be the last glove I buy.  One thing that I told my boss in retail, "I won't push a produce that I would not buy."   As you can see American Leather has my vote and my money.  Life is too short to shoot a poorly built and functioning glove.

I like the Bodnik Speed Glove for my heavy (for me) bow.  But they just wear out too fast.

Wudstix

I like the feel with the Bodnik, but haven't shot it much.  When I need a glove the American Leathers Kangaroo Crossover gets the nod 95% of the time, 5% of the time the Elk Bigshot.

So, my buddy acquired a big shot many moons ago from someone. It has elk leather and has a woodland camo where the black neoprene would be.  It is neat! Must have been an option years ago.

Nice, lighter colored leather, as well.  This is front and back of my Elk Big Shot.  About a year old.

I shot my buffalo crossover last night with the plastic stalls again, it was ok, but went back to my buffalo crossover I had made with an extra layer of leather instead of the plastic inserts.  I've been looking real hard at the full shot, but not sure how I'd like the feel of the nylon.

Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.

Alexander Traditional

I have a full shot, and like it. The leather is deer skin so it's much softer than the others.

Wudstix

The Big Shot with nylon finger tips is very smooth.  Not sure if that is due to me shooting a nylon faced tab.  But the glove shoots nice.

Vroomvroom

Finally got a big shot. Fingers fit inside the glove perfectly.   It's much more natural and comfortable than the dura glove

You will not be disappointed.  This is the Mercedes of shooting gloves.
