Hi All,
Does anyone have the spec. of a 55-57 Bear Grizzly bow, I have one
but I don't know the brace hight, I call bear archery, they said
it's like there grizzly bow of today. 7.5 to 8.5 brace hight but I'm
not sure of that because my bow totally different. where can I find
info or literature. thanks for your help in advance.

Actually 7.5" - 8" and you might possibly like it at 8"

It just doesn't seam right. ;-) that 8", I've been shooting it at 5.5".
I twisted the brace hight to 7" but I haven't shot the bow yet. may
have to get a new string for it. what lenght spec. for the bow. I't a 62"
lenght bow. For me to string the bow, it's hard to pull to flex
the bow that far, how many twist should you have in the string before
to many twist. does anyone have a spec sheet. I'm going to the bow club
and talk with the trad shooter this weekend, If I don't go turkey hunting.

i have  2 bear grizzlys one at 45# and the other is 55# and the brace i have then both at 8 and 8 1/4...

Thanks very much for all the info. what lenght is your bow string. I may have to
get new lenght, and how many twist should a string have to bring you close to
brace height. thanks again.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the your string should measure 4" shorter that the AMO length of your bow, so in your case 58". As far as twists. One twist every 1"-1.5" with plenty of leeway to twist or untwist to get desired brace. This is not gospel, just works for me. Hopefully someone that knows what they're talking about will chime in.
caught between:If it ain't broke, don't fix it and can't leave well enough alone.

Hello,

I brace mine at 7 3/8ths to 7 1/2'' it works fine.

socalmonster09

I shot the bow with 7.1/4 brace. It felt so much better to shoot.
next time I shoot I'm anding more twist to 7.5. It looks close to 1" twist
on string. my draw is 25 to 25.5, don't have a D Loop
