My biggest goal is to get out more. Due to health and other circumstances, I was not able to do any serious hunting for the last three seasons. As I get older, hunting as well as numerous other activities just get more difficult. Balance has become a big issue. As for destination, I will be content to get to my little plot about 10 minutes from my house.

We are hoping for a Florida Gator tags for August and also hoping to draw Michigan bear tags. Then just staying close to home for whitetails

Good luck to everyone.  I've got SD spring turkey. Saskatchewan spring bear.  Saskatchewan whitetail and whitetails at home if anything survives our winter

I'll do some deer hunting around home. Then there will be the Laredo Tusk Roundup for javelina and hogs. Then Manitoba for black bear next spring. I might mess around with the local coyotes a bit too.

You seem to like Saskatchewan. Never been hunting there yet.

This year will be elk, deer, turkey, and grouse at my local haunts 5 miles east of my house.

Still haven't drawn an Idaho moose tag, but maybe this will be my lucky year.

I'm just hoping to find someplace within reach of home where I might have a chance at a deer. Waiting to hear on a couple of things but it isn't looking that good.

Turkey in western MD this spring whitetail in the fall. In the fall in WV black bear and whitetail. Not holding my breath but making it a point to hunt more this year and learn.

This year I'm hoping to get out more with my bow for some squirrel hunting, trying to get close enough on a pig, and if I'm lucky get drawn for a gator tag so I can finally get one with my bow. Good luck every one!

Gary if I was thirty years younger I would probably try and move up north just for the hunting.

Hmmm. My wife has  family ties that lives and ranches in Saskatchewan. I should check that out someday.

Aside from the usual pigs and whitetail here at home in Texas I'm gonna work on a short list of animals in South Africa, hit my land for whitetail in Missouri and look for other opportunities as they arise.
Freezer has plenty of meat.  Probably try some fishing this year just to change things up a little.
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

Hope to take my first whitetail with a stick bow here on public land in Virginia! Got a week set aside the first of November and couldn't be more excited to spend some time in the woods

2022 was the first year I've felt my age since my 30's. I felt old at 68 (duh?).  I had a new hip installed on the right side on January 7, 2023.  My right leg is now 7 mm longer than it used to be and 1mm longer than the left.  All went well but doc says stiffness and soreness will last about a year. Walking on uneven ground is the most irritating.

So, I'm planning to hunt turkey, squirrel, and whitetail on my own property here in Kentucky this year. I hope to get to Lafayette, Indiana to spend a few days hunting whitetails with my best friend of nearly 50 years.  He's battling a nasty cancer again at 78 years old. Mike Bolin, you know Jim Hart. He has had a very rough last 10 years - two cancers and a 30' fall from a broken tree stand. Whew!

Maybe antelope again in 2024.

Must be some good private ground bowwild I'm not far from Lafayette, In and I sure don't have anyplace worth hunting. Hope your friend makes out ok with his illness. My wife just got a new right hip Tuesday. She already feels better than she did with the old hip.
