So I'm going to play with an ILF setup and had a string question. I'm going to setup a 17" Satori riser with DAS long limbs. The 3Rivers site says the long DAS limbs will workout to a 62" bow on a 17" riser.

I reached out to a string manufacturer and he recommended a 59.25" string, stating the Satori actually ran longer than advertised. I called 3Rivers as they sell all the components individually and they recommended a 58" string.

Anyone have experience with a similar setup and what string length worked for you?

Many Thanks!

McDave

I have a Satori 19" riser that makes a 62" bow with Hoyt medium limbs, which is similar to your setup. I make all my own bowstrings, and I have to make the one for this bow at least 1" longer than my other 62" bows. So I would say the advice to order a 59.25" string is a good guess.

19" Satori with uukha long limbs.  I dont remember the actual length of the string off the top of my head,  but I had to order a second one because the first was AMO correct,  but an inch to short.  So the same experience as you.

Thank you both very much! Ordering a 59.25" string.
