this is huge!   tell us more,  were you in the stand (how high) or on the ground?   I see those low poundage bows listed in your sig so which bow and arrow setup did you use.  my closet deer a big doe was at 5yds I was in a stand 6' off the ground  its one of the most intense feelings Ive ever felt when deer hunting... awesome big body buck you got!

I was about 13-14' high, I was shooting the Palmer Longbow 43#@26". He was on me quick, by the time I got the video camera powered up, hit record, grabbed my bow he was at 10 yards and closing! It was a quick decision to shoot, Drew as he was walking by at 5 yards..... "Thump" !!!!
He ran about 35 yards and stood there what seemed like FOREVER but was only a minute then staggered, caught his balance then went down!
