Me? High Noon at 7:30 am. It was a wonderful hour. This was voted as the favorite roast in 3 javalina camps unanimously. Also they have the smoothest and most delicious tasting decaf I've ever had. And the Maduro was a nice compliment to the coffee.

I wasted mine, and rolled over and slept another hour. Felt pretty good though...

Thanks T, I think... :biglaugh:   I can't believe I choked.  Just glad it was a clean miss, and he wasn't spooked bad, ran off 40-50 yards & stopped to look around then walked off.

Looking back at my pics, this was him.

I got the old school blues from a buddy who passed away way too soon last January. I could hear him laughing at my miss.   :knothead:

Contemplated an hour longer before church.

I got there on time as usual but this time not feeling half asleep!

Actually, I didn't remember when I woke up this morning that I needed to set the clocks back.  I wanted to be at the Awesome Stickbow Classic put on by the Maya Bowmen by 7:30, and I was wondering if I had enough time to get some breakfast before I had to leave.  After my wife asked me if I had remembered to set the clocks back, it turned out that I had plenty of time to have breakfast and drink an extra cup of coffee and read the newspaper before I had to leave.  So I enjoyed that extra hour!

I got up in the treestand...but I actually preferred Saturday...shooting light wasn't until 7:40. It felt like I was sleeping in  :biglaugh:

I used my extra hour to make apple cheese danishes for breakfast. I thought it was a prudent use of my time.

It was opening of firearms season in Mn so my brother and son and grandson were here to hunt for the weekend. I've traditionally hunted with them for the past 30-40 years and was again. We normally shoot a couple deer Saturday,  hunt Sunday til about One and then debone the deer for them to take home as I live in a CWD zone. Always a great time but sometimes I think they're really here for the lasagna, eggbake and chili my wife makes just for them.

I slept off the previous night's whiskey tasting but in the afternoon I ended a road run with a short hike in the woods to look at a new section of trail being added to our local state park. I saw three deer looking like they have hit their autumn prime.

I spent an extra hour in my stand.  Had a 4 pt buck come by and a doe behind me. It was a very pleasant morning in the woods

Wasn't much to do with 50 to 60 mile an hour winds in the Dakotas no deer out in that .
