I am just recovering from a Total Knee surgery done in July. I had some complications in that I lost 25 pounds over a few weeks post-surgery. I am finally on the road to recovery but loosing muscle mass has left me a bit weak to say the least. I can't even pull my 40# bows. I thought about picking up a set of 30# ILF limbs...but since I have a ton of bows, I reduced an old 55# bamboo back & belly longbow to 30# today with my knife grinder and a 30 grit belt. Bambo saw dust was really flying with the 30 grit belt. It feels really good to be able shoot again though...tippit

I feel for you, been there and going thru the loss of muscle mass from health reasons.

What a beautiful bow! Wish I had the wherewithal to be able to reduce weight on my own bows.

Wishing you a speedy recovery but even that gets harder as we age.

Now that is devotion right there.... Glad to hear you got something to keep you in the game.....

Please send me a pm if you like. I have some ultra light ILF limbs here just collecting dust I'd love to find a home for.

Good luck on your recovery. That's a nice looking bow.
I had both knees done 5 years ago. I lost 20 pounds during recovery. All muscle mass. It took a long time to build back up.
