Anybody ever use camo duct tape on their limbs ?
Mine are solid black and I'm thinking about trying the camo tape on them .

I would do cloth as well. Less shiny like mentioned above. But black is very good and I wouldn't bother personally. But have used face paint as well once to kill time on stand before. Lol

I like useing the camo cloth tape. A buddy of mine that came elk hunting with us had black limbs was reflecting badly in the sun, He installed some camo duct tape that was an inprovement, but still reflected much light.

I have Limbsations on my limbs, but they reflect light too, Cloth worked the best in all situations and conditions.

I have seen the limitations advertised. Some of the pattens are nice
May just rattle can them and call it good

I used some camouflage tape in the past but to take it off was a nightmare.

Walmart camo duct tape on three of my bows. All different patterns. Looks pretty good. The digital military pattern on my Black Hunter looks the best.

All three bows are economical Asians that have black glass and the tape probably increased their value. :)  I would never put duct tape on my customs.

Here is a pattern I do on some of my customers limbs. These are some ILF limbs I did not long ago. These also have a Matt clear coating over them. I have this pattern on my own hunting bow too.    Kirk

I use camp vet wrap on my bows until season is over. It stops the shine, protects the finish, and makes it way quieter. Comes off easy as it has no adhesive. Hornhunter turned me on to it a few years ago and I have used it ever since.

Cloth tape for me as there's no reflection off a smooth surface.  It also does a good job protecting the limbs.

I second JR... unless they're really shiny, I would leave them alone. That little bit of black is not a factor in my opinion.

Put a layer of paste car wax on the limbs, don't buff it or anything, just cover the limbs by smearing it on with your fingers and let it dry.  Problem solved, and easy removal.

With black-brown-green-caramel- glass I wouldn't fret .  Long as you have a good finish , simple coat of paste wax as mentiioned is the least invasive of the options imho.....Best with the quest !
