Looks like I'm a little late to the party, Anyway I've been using 200-300 Field points and Broadheads for over 20+ years 300 gr. most of those years, last 3 200-250, Oldtimers :goldtooth: Anyway, after last shoulder surgery I've been able to increase poundage up to 40#@ 27". this year I have 2 bows setup and looks like I'll be able to shoot 300gr. once again. You will love the penetration.

The main thing is getting perfect arrow flight. That is it period... Change what ever you need to to get perfect arrow flight (field points and Broadheads) arrow spine, tip weight, tiller, brace height whatever it takes that works for you to be accurate. You may have to lower your bow poundage.
