I have had three or four of Allen's bows and in my opinion the English was his best creation. 

It only got better when I asked Snag to make a dozen arrows like Allens and this is what I got. What a great couple of craftsmen!  The way it should be as I understand Allen and David were good friends also.

I never met him but yeah, he made some fine bows and from the testimony he was a fine man.

I just started a young man (who helps around our house) on his road to traditional archery/hunting with a gift of one of Allen's Contenders 64" 57#@28. I've already reduced weight of a couple of his bows for me and just decided it was time to pass a nice bow along to the next generation...tippit

That's an incredible gift that will fill a young man with memories for a lifetime. That's the spirit of Allen Boice!  He would be pleased.

Allen fixed my Edge that I screwed up...I ask Allen how much money to send him...He said,   don't worry about it.  That shows you what kind of man he was.

I spoke with Allen's wife regarding one of those bows, sometime ago.  She told me all the remaining bows were being held for family members.
