Hi folks Ive been out of the loop since the last season ended and I think my favorite arrow maker elite arrows is not making them anymore or he slowed way done I'm not sure but I need some recommendations,,,,, specifically custom arrows where I can pick my big LW 5.5 shields and heavier points and even change some things with cresting and I like my arrow nocks temporarily  glued with a tiny dab just enough to paint them so I can then break the nock loose and re-glue it where I want it.    so what do you think who out there is making really nice quality arrows.   I do like to support our dealers here so of course don't leave any of em out..    thanks Taj

I buy my arrows from Wapiti in Oregon.  You can buy anything from raw shafts to completely finished arrows from them, or anywhere in between.  I usually buy arrows that have been tapered from 11/32 to 5/16, with the feathers and nocks off, for reasons like you describe.  The shafts have been crown dipped, crested, and sealed, with point and nock tapers.

I forgot about Wapiti ..... great recommendation.

I just talked with Andy at Addictive archery the other day and he's pretty swamped with arrow orders right now. I guess he still does footed shafts occasionally. But hasn't had the time for it for awhile. But he does nice work on arrows....    Kirk
