Honestly, I would love to owen every bow Jim made

I'd be happy with one more MOAB!  Had a TS III that was stolen from my truck.

My favorite is a 62" Morrison Shawnee longbow with carbon foam limbs. This is a real shooter and dead quiet.

Nearly gave the nod to the Widow PLX, nearly the St Patrick's Lake Pacific but the Poison Dart gets the nod

I had the Shawnee with carbon/foam  longbow limbs as well Mike in a 62 inch bow.It was nice!

Hall of Fame bow for me.Probably the Bear Custom Kodiak T.D due its versatility.

Ah yes guys, he did make them with longbow limbs, forgot about that. 

I have several HOF bows but to nominate just one, 1956 Kodiak, 60" and 57#. 66 years young and still  on the mound on opening morning.  Sort of an unfair advantage to have a starting pitcher that throws  fastball both left and right handed.

Well  it's a fact we're all different, but my pick is the Blackwidow PL longbow.

I've only got three bows, and yes they are all Blackwidow PLX longbows. They sit nice in my hand, they shoot where I look, they are smooth and quiet, they are way more than quick enough with the wooden arrows I shoot, and to me, they simply look great.

I have occasionally gotten a slight itch to try something different, but then I think "Hang on, I really shoot very well with the bows I already have, and I really really like them".

So then I'll take one of my Blackwidow longbows out and shoot it, and that slight itch simply goes away   

Just shooting them puts a smile on my face.

I can't ask much more than that.

Hoyt Buffalo.  Not pretty but highly functional and most of all reliable.

Bob sarrels sierra is still my go to bow. Traded through tons of bows but still got this one been shooting it for 11 years

For me it's my  Brackenbury Drifter.  I bought it from Jim in 84. I've had many bows since, but its always been my go to bow. Last year I handed it down to my 32yr old son. I had Wes Wallace build me a couple sets of lighter limbs . My original set was 65lbs to much for these old bones anymore. Now I get to watch my son enjoy it.

My 69# Morrison Cougar, made by Bob. Tuff as nails and blast though or knocks over critters. What a fine longbow.

It was built in 1987, I have owned it twice, I bought it from Mike @Rosewood Archery a long time ago, talked to Ron about it and he told me all about it. It was originally marked at 62#@28" but actually scaled a hair over 64# so it was fast. In 2010 I had a cervical vertebra move and pinched or cut nerves that worked my left rear deltoid and right tricep and I couldn't shoot it or any of my other bows. I waited a year like the Dr. said and had it reduced to the 58# that it is now, and I still couldn't shoot it. Six months later I sold it and it started on about a 9-year trip around the country. Not long ago I saw it for sale and bought it again and got it back in the same shape that it left in. It won't be leaving again because I've recovered and have a lefty grandson coming up that should top out about 6'4" or so and he'll be fine with it. He's already shooting 40# at 9 years old.

Wow, thanks for the History.... yeah, sounds like your grandson will be able to handle it just fine.
