I know 3 of those guys and that pic is HYSTERICAL via so many inside personality jokes.  All THREE of them and there looks I have quotes pegged for. Oh my God I'm in stitches.

First day is in the books. The adventure is in full swing and lots of good stories were told at the dinner table last night. We're still waiting for the first bear on the meat pole. Stay tuned.

Day 2 of camp has come and gone. Yesterday's weather (cool and raining) slowed the bear movement down. Mark Livingston had a big boar at eight yards that just sensed something wasn't right and never gave Mark a shot opportunity. We're up and getting ready for day three. The rain is supposed to break just in time for our afternoon hunt.

I need to note there are two Stickflinger camps, about 30 miles apart.  Mine is the original camp, for tough, he-man types.  The other is for ladies and gentlemen who need pampering.   Slow, cold and raining everyday here.  Two bears wounded with apparent non-fatal hits.  One barrel with a VPA hole.  Tonight is the night!  Should mention that with heavy spring snow runnoff and a big rain last week 50% of our baits are not accessible.   Bridges and roads are washed out.

Fun and games, hunt the baits you can get too.  I figured you would hunt the tough camp!!!

Just so everyone knows. We're really roughing it over here.  There aren't any mints on the pillows over here. We do have the real problem of steaks that are too big to eat and a shortage of the quickly gobbled up home made cookies.
