My follower extreme has red elm and Mike stained them darker along the sides. They look and shoot great, hate really bright limb woods in the woods. Saving for another.

Yesterday, I received the PUP that I had ordered for my grandson. I look forward to giving it to him soon. It is 48" long and draws 34# at 26" draw. His current draw is considerably shorter than that, so I expect this bow to last him until he can buy and select his own equipment. This is a very nice bow for a kid.

How long is the wait?

When I talked with Mike it was about 8 weeks. Also I think he told me he was taking summer off.

 I changed the plans about traveling a bunch this summer.  Not the way gas costs right now.    I don't have many orders at the moment, It's about 4-5 weeks now. 

I've bought a Predator and a Mountaineer from Mike. Great bows and the price is right. And he's super helpful and a good guy on top of that. You can't go wrong. In fact, I need to holler at him to get one of his kids bows for my granddaughter now!!

Good news, was contacted by bowyer he has started my bow!!!

I have had several bows made with Red Elem it makes good bow limbs and looks good under clear glass. I have a 35# Maddog bow with Elem limbs with brown glass that has good cast for the weight of the bow.

Recieved my bow, it is flawless in finish. Cocobolo riser and tips with green glass. 50 lb at 30 in and 64 in long. Very smooth draw and quick, no handshock at all. Will post pics as soon as my stepson helps me probably tomorrow.

My 13 year old daughter's 58" 30# @ 28" Prairie Predator longbow (birthday present) arrived a few days ago.  I was taking a chance by getting her a color other than her favorite blues/pinks/purples... But she absolutely loves it.!  And she's been shooting every day just because she likes the new bow so much.

The finish is great, the bow is well made and very clean.  Probably my favorite of all the MadDog bows I've gotten for my kids through the years.  Thanks, Mike!

Does the Mountaineer string into the classic D shape when strung?

No it looks like a hybrid, shoots extremely well and quiet.
