Do you snug up the limb bolts un strung or strung, or does it matter?

I usually snug the bolts up then string up the bow. If it's an ILF rig I check the tiller and adjust if necessary.

Wudstix

Ok, had a slight buzz when shooting, tightened the limb bolt screws and most of it went away.  I'll unstring and re-snug.

Strung :o with loose bolts? Arrrggghhh!

Snug up before stringing, it isn't an ILF fitting 😉

I usually rub a little string wax on the limb where it will touch the riser too, before assembling. Will help avoid any squeaks etc on draw.

Thanks Ryan.  All "buzz" is on release.  All I shoot is one piece, until now.

Snug before string.

Also dont over tighten.

Wudstix

That's what I was concerned about.  Didn't lean into it.  Just wrist tight.

Good tip.  Toilet wax ring wax may be a better medium though.
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

The wax can be a good idea between limb and riser. It also keeps water out that sits between the limb butt and riser if you hunt in the rain. That can become a problem.

Some use cork gasket or rubber between the limb and riser. You can cut to fit.
