Copying Kenny Topic, kind of

It's a glass copy of a Korean Horn Bow
48/50" NTN--- 1-1/2" wide
Butt load of reflex , hope she ain't too squirrelly
I will be using Stable Kore under the back glass

Going top less, James gave me some Mule tape and a form tracing

The main riser is 5/8" thick, it will have over and under lays on it to make it thicker

Got all the steel pins cut and on the form

Good luck, Max!  Korean hornbows can be squirrely; I hope your version isn't too bad...

I made a glass copy of a 48" NTN Scythian once upon a time.  Worked great except when it randomly decided to turn itself inside out upon release!

Looking forward to watching this come together!

Max what diameter are your pins and how far apart are thay ?

Shredd

Butt Load of Reflex??  Is that a technical term??   :)

Love it... Best of Luck on this endeavor... I appreciate your appetite to reach out and do different stuff...

Mark, I've seen and shot a few similar bows that James built and I must say they were quite fast. At least it should be pretty stable unlike most Asiatic horn bows that you have to keep tweaking due to heat and humidity.

Yes, a shortie can easily turn into a longie.  Will follow this one Max.

Pat B

Don't give him too much time on his shorty.   :bigsmyl:  I've heard it can make you go blind.  :o

1/2" pins, for a long bow 2-1/2" apart
The first 6 from the middle are 2" apart then they get closer, I went overboard there on the recurve ends.

Thanks Guy's
