Officially stepped to the other side in this new year. Got to shoot a build I've been working on for sometime now. Got a little bit of tweaking yet but pretty happy with what I've got so far. Turn out at 52#@28" got to spray the limbs yet maybe make a riser for them sometime.

Wow! So nice. Doing the dimple type stippling is on my list. Did you use a carbide burr or a round stone type Drexel for that?

I have a riser already glued up that I want to do that with. But I gotta practice first!

How long is that bow? VERY graceful and flows so well!

Mostly diamond burr bits for the stippling. Bows 62"

What material did you use for that riser?  That looks fantastic.

Nice work mike.

If I'm recalling right......that's your old recurve riser, and you've managed to dual purpose it and get longbow limbs on it?

How do they compare? Noise? Speed? Smoothness? Stability?

Yes you're correct it originally is a 60" recurve riser. Noise a tad quieter than the  recurve the recurve is pretty good also. Speed a seems a little slower going to crono both limb sometime they are with in a pound of each other so it should be a good comparison. Stability is awesome with the carbon backing. It's my favorite for the static recurve limbs also   Smoothness seems good. I need to tweak my form a tad for future builds maybe a little more pronounced limb also.
Looking to be able to put longbow limbs on the same riser in 60" and 62" configuration.

Both types of limbs on the same riser is one of my goals. Do you know what your limb pad angle is?

That is a gorgeous bow.
