Dose anyone make an a 25 grain screw-in adapter for a 135 grain magnus glue on head? I am trying to get to 160 grains without having to add anything to the arrow.

Golden Hawk

Magnus makes a 25 Gr short adapter. I also know that 3 rivers carries a 25gr short adapter.

I saw that buy wasnt sure if a short would work. Do you know if it will?

Charlie Lamb

Slayer1... the short adapter will work just fine. If you plan on using the Magnus as a two blade the extra grains of the long adapter won't hurt anything and would be even better.

I often use the short adapter so I can mount a bleeder blade in my Magnus without ANY problems at all.

Thanks Charlie.....I have some long adapters that I use for a heavier weighted bow. It brings the total BH weight to 178. I have found that when I shoot them out of the lighter poundage bow it makes the arrow drop faster with the added 18 grains. I am going to order some and try them out.

If you are using the Magnus I (the wide heads), the make that head in a 160 gr version. One of my most favorite heads. Of course, you would need swaged shafts then to keep the same weight.

I have the short Magnus adapters in 25 grain, or longs in 42 grain, your pick.

They are on the STOS page.

What Charlie said...the short's are tailor made for use with bleeders, but I have used them as a 2 blade head often.
