Just ordered over the phone, a Widow PAX with the new carbon limbs. There will be no red.  The riser will shamelessly be very close to this one.  (58", 42#@26", LH).  I like the gracefulness of this one piece recurve. I fully expect this to be my last bow purchase for this 67-year old.

Seven month wait caused me pause for a few days, but I've waited longer for other brands.

I have both designs and I think the II andIII models go well with the red stripe but I prefer the Xs without red and white

Personal choice, I like all of em.  I think it pops with black and white ebony....[attachment=1]

A Lex

Bryan that sure is a GREAT looking bow

The Blackwidow guys really know how to build a good looking great shooting bow, red or no red.

Good hunting to you all.
May the wind be your friend, and may your arrows fly true,
Most of all, may the appreciation and the gratitude of what we do keep us humble......

I don't have a Widow but I think the red makes them pop! Looks great.

I've got an older '96 psa2 that was my first widow, love the red in the older greybarks, that was one of the first things I noticed with a widow that stood out to me.  will be ordering a pch in greenelaf after first of the year and on the fence about how I'm gonna have it made, the red stripe just seems like that final touch for me.

If you're asking as a curiosity that's ok. I personally don't say I have a preference. It's like the blonde/brunette thing. Who likes what better?. Maybe a fun conversation but just get whatever you personally like when it's time.

Bowwild; I'm with Cacc'.  Helluva good lookin' bow.  With or without red, some woods just need the red in order to 'pop'.

You awful brave guy laying that razor sharp Randall 8 on your bow string. I'd end up bumping it and.......

I have three BW bows, two with the red and a PSRX without red or white. Love them all, but I do like the smaller risers of the PL and PSR without.

Wodje96

i like them with and without.  i think the green looks particularly good with out. all mine have red mainly because i get decision lock and just get the std offerings instead of custom build lol

I believe it would depend on the riser wood. I just saw a new Greybark with the red that just pops for me. Then agian I like that riser above without. I also have started to call the red, the "blood stripe "
