I have a recurve from Archery Traditions with a serial number of QP3C1329. It's 53#. I've had it for probably 20 years. Does anyone have an idea who made it. Dan sold the company before or at the time that I bought it. Was wondering if it's a Quillian original.

Steelhead

Not sure

I saw the QP in serial #s.Might stand for Quillian Patriot.Which was a 1 piece known for good speed and had a setback handle.

i think the patriot was a takedown.  the canebrake was a one piece.  there was also a travelling hunter which was a takedown.   i have a th and have had a canebrake. i believe dq had his bows built by jeffery i dont know of any sale or change in manufacture but im not a historian on the topic either

For a long time Jeffery Archery in South Carolina produced bows for Dan Quillian. I bought a longbow during the time the store was changing over, and I think Jeffery was still making the bows; however, I am not sure.

Yaa thats right Wodjie 96.My bad.

Cane break was the one I was talking about in the one piece.Setback grip and said to be fast.
