Just curious as to how often you will hunt a stand? I try to not use a stand more than 1 morning and 1 evening in a row. I pick my choice depending on wind direction but have a couple that don't matter a lot in that respect. I know some guys may not have as many options.

I always let the wind dictate the stand I choose.  However, I try to not sit the same stand more than once every 2-3 days. 

I'm with Orion, at least 2 days rest.

And a morning and evening isn't out of the question.

Of course during the rut anywhere anytime is good.

Same stand....twice per week. Spaced out.

No more than once a week with few exceptions. I try to keep enough stands so I can bounce around.

A buck may not make it by a specific location once every three days. If I am confident in his frequenting a specific location in the afternoons, I may dig in for three consecutive afternoons.

If the wind being right and the time to hunt it coincide then I hunt it. Trust me, that's not often enough to bother the deer. My trouble is being there at the same time as them. The cameras show plenty of pics to keep you excited then you sit there and see nothing.

No real rules w my stands other than wind direction - it's too situational - if I'm seeing deer and wind is right I'll hunt it more often.
