Deep Cored Longbows

Can someone explain to me what the definition is of a deep cored longbow. I've seen it stated a few times and I'm not sure what that means. Thank you in advance

It means that the limb core is thicker than those on recurves.  I think normally because more laminations are used. The limbs on such bows are narrower than recurves but thicker.
