PICKNGRIN

Got out mine a couple days ago.  B handle (bubinga and phenolic) with my #3, 45 lb. limbs.  What a smooth shooter!  Love that 64" length!  May not be the best for the pop up blind but it is a tack driver!

Just wondering how many folks here, picked up one of the new Mag Handles...??

I LOVE Mine!!!! I usually Take my 2015 Red Stripe deer hunting, But I just might use my new Mag Handle....
Gotta break it in sometime, Right??  :archer:
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

Waiting to see if they bring out a B riser.

Yeah, I've kinda fallen for the new mag risers. I really like them and am shooting them well.

Here is my green riser with 52 pound #3's.

That's a set nice looking bows, Randell

I bought my Red Stripe in 2015. I've wanted one for over 30 years.
When I got it, I swore it would be my "hunting bow" till the day I died.... Now, maybe not! LOL

Any plans on hunting with those??

Nice set, RVTB!
That Launch model looks sweet.
Had no idea about that model!
Had both original A, B models.
Loved my B bow!
Good shootin to ya!

I was the same way, wanted a Bear T/D for years and finally bought my first when they first brought them back in 2011.  I have an all Bubinga A riser that has been my go to hunting bow since I picked it up in 2012 and I have had it hunting in eight different states now.  I've since accumulated several of them but I am planning on the camo mag bow being my go to for this years season.

Do they make theLaunch Edition in anything other than 45#?

The launch version was limited to the first 50 they produced.  They were all right handed and 45 pounds.  They came with quilted maple limbs, a black riser and a custom takedown case.

I believe Big Jim was willing to break up a launch set he had.  Was offering the limbs for sale for $800 at Compton several weeks ago.  Beautiful limbs/workmanship, and I was and still am looking for a set of 45# no.3 limbs.  Just couldn't justify the price -- more than double a standard set.  Do they shoot twice as good? :bigsmyl:

Still thinking about it though.  There's a launch issue on the big auction site right now.

ESP

How do these bows handle long draw length? ( over 31"). Example an a riser with the longer limb 60".

Orion

I think you would like a B riser and no.3 limbs better for your 31-inch draw.  That makes a 64-inch bow.

varmint101

Definitely enjoying my mag takedown. Couldn't stand that grip myself and just shoot off the riser. I like it.

Ya know, I love the Bear takedowns. Been shooting them off and on ever since they came out. I'm pretty much set on the B mags of old now.

I just wish that Bear would leave out the extras, ( quiver bushings, stupid compass ) and let people put them in themselves if they want. They've made some beautiful combinations over the years but the compass especially is a turn off for me. Might save them and us a few $$ too.
It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

Shot w a mouth tab. B mag riser 40# at 26" complete passthru
