Back around the first of deer season last fall I ordered a set of longbow limbs to go on my Primal Tech riser. Well Randy finished them but needed my riser to make sure they mated up right and that took a while for me to commit to giving it up.
Well I finally did and while he had it I had him modify the grip some. Took some of the heel out and trimmed down the palm swell. It's closer to a great comprise between a recurve and longbow grip and it just holds and shoots well for me. Even with my limited practice I can still pick it up and drop a 20 yard group like this on most any occasion. Not amazing but inside 4" is a dead animal and my goal on most outings.

I try to keep hunting shots close.  Like 15 yards and under close.  And at 15 this bow shoots lights out.  So much so I haven't even tried the recurve limbs on the reworked riser.

Anyhow it has been a busy year and I've worked too much. Too many 7 day weeks the last 3 months. I had only gotten into the blind with it once and nothing but deer showed. Last trip down our chest freezer had lost power and I spent the evening cleaning it out, burning the refuse and not hunting.
So this trip I was fortunate and arrived to no problems. I got into camp about 6pm, spent some time on a little project, messed around with Moses and headed to the blind around 8:15ish.
About 8:45 a nice boar tried to come in from the south but the deer weren't having it and walked him off. But as soon as they left he came in from the northeast. He'd circled into the wind but I had my shell blind all closed up so scent wasn't an issue. After he settled in feeding and seemed relaxed I opened the window. I had my glove on already and quickly nocked the arrow and drew. He was slightly quarted to me so I held and within 5 seconds he took the step that squared him broadside. They arrow was gone without a thought and the sound of it hitting made me believe it hit him good. He lunged forward but immediately was showing signs this was going to be a short track. He got out to about 40 yards and stopped, trying to keep his feet, the stumbled over into the tall grass. I looked at my phone, 9:14pm. I decided to give him 15 minutes even though I was convinced he was down. Sure enough he was right there.
An amazing blood trail from his first jump to where he lay.
The arrow had hit him perfect, passed through and exited the far shoulder.
Big thank you to Randy Madden at Primal Tech for not only a great bow but for making it better for me by listening to my concerns on the grip, watching me shoot so he could see what he had to do to help my midget hand fit it better then making that happen.

I smell dead critters coming soon!

Nice hog! I don't have a Primal Tech (yet!), but I shot Corey's at the TN Classic and that thing is a smooth-drawing, arrow-spitting, killing machine!

Randy didn't just borrow a design or copy limb molds.  He put in a lot of research, trial and error, money and time invested, to find what he felt was efficient and effective.  It shows in the performance of his product.
And for the record Corey seems to be a crack shot as well.
