Checking trail cams can be exciting

Yesterday, I hiked in to check on some trail cams I have out for bear. I've been getting a lot of pics and video of different bears in the area but yesterday, this guy came right at me:

This was when he was at 20 yards. Knew I was there. Didn't care. I had to talk to him for a bit before he decided to back down and he ran off.

That is cool.  Is it mating season for the cats?  I thought they are usually alone, but not sure on that.

I'm thinking the're maybe siblings-still hunting together.

Not many bears here but don't most bolt at the sight of humans? They seam so skittish at bait sites.

For me, bears sometimes make me a little nervous. Often in my experience, they just don't care that you are there, and as a result, they don't always react to human presence like most other game animals.
