I just received this in the mail from Ryan ... it's the book from his father Roger... I'm very excited about reading it..... Ryan is an associate Sponsor so the book is available to all...

I will say from this point that the introduction and forward are worth the price of admission.... Just fabulous.  I can't wait to get into chapter one which will I will do so tonight...

I have an autographed and inscribed copy of this book that I bought from Roger at a Dixie Deer Classic in 1994.  He was a real gentleman and an inspiration.

It is required reading for me every summer as Uncle Barry's "Once upon a Tine". Both of Roger's books are good reading and Gene's "Buckskin and Bone" is too!

A excellent preseason read, I've got one Roger signed and wrote a short note in, he also sent a few pictures with it, like Mike said Rogers book and Barry and Genes are must reads

Yes the Wensel books are a given.... I'm just glad I can add this to my collection and my woodsman ship
