We are on the string boys! First draw, 5 1/2" brace height. Not too shabby for an initial tiller. She's a wee bit heavy right now, but I should be able to shave those pounds easy.

I should clarify that this is just where it was once I rough cut the limb tapers and cleaned it up.  I will be fixing those limbs.

When I mailed on Friday the nice lady behind the counter said it would be delivered on Monday the 7th.  Tracking is saying it just departed the Denver distribution center.   So much for priority mail 🙄

Got the limbs bending more evenly and the weight is coming down nicely.  Should be able to finish tillering and roughing in the riser tonight after work.

So, it took 3 days for my local PO to send it across town to the local distribution center ???  😅  My local is a small facility and has no conveyor belts. Musta mistaken it for material for an upcoming plumbing job.

Here's another mystery.  I mailed it at 80007 and tracking says it was sent from 80004.  Maybe some kind of USPS buck passing 🤔??  🤣

I shipped UPS...Not USPS..
Much faster same price.

I will have to check out the UPS shipping.

Last bow i mailed went to NJ and got there in three days.

UPS was higher by a good bit last time I used it, don't remember how much.

I think UPS is better on small heavy packages. For one piece bows I think USPS has them beat.

UPS is always quicker...
Stay sharp, Kenny.
