Yeah,  some nice wood there.

I used sanding sealer on the wood and it'll get one more once over with 320 before the VHT goes on.   Should ship  by Thursday.

Update,
the last month has been a real challenge my wife contracted covid pnumonia.
Been a uphill battle but by the grace of God, my wife is turning the corner.

With that I am honoring my commitments, and have been back at getting this bow DONE.....

Have some lipstick and fine tuning and a finish,,, at out she goes!!

Glad your wife is getting better.   A friend had pneumonia and was hospitalized.  Then he caught covid in the hospital.   

First actual group out of the swap bow.  Arrows are not a perfect match but they worked.   Now a new string.

Was in HD today and remembered you mentioned needing PVC for shipping.  I've been using this stuff.  Cheaper and lighter.

Just did a VHT finish on mine.  Conditions and temperature was perfect and the d%$#n stuff orange peeled. 🍊  I'm tearing my hair out and really have none to spare.  😞

Not sure how to deal with it.  It might have to ship as is.

I tried the gloss and got the Orange peel
