I got the riser pattern template to fit the form done today and pattern sanded some Osage.
I will make one for the riser belly to pattern sand most of it.

Riser is 16"

Walt Francis sent me his so I measure it up
I was close in most of it but the fades.
Walt's is 63#@27"

I reckon it will have some oomph!

Still a lot of work to do on the form, it has a little warp from end to end so I have some angle iron to bolt to it, and the hardware for the form and the washers to keep the lams in line. I may have to make the form hardware because of the angle iron being in the way.

50# now still needs rounding over

Off the form and buggers cleaned up.

Profiled the limb width

The other bow is behind my bow, mine needs a little tiller adjustment.

I put the 2 pictures together on paint

That's a cool little bow. I wanted one of those Sheepeater's when they were being made but never got around to it.

Mad Max

I looked for many years and never could find one.

Interesting design. What taper rate are you using and what was used in the Sheepeater?

Mad Max

Same as the Sheepeater, .00something
