Mad Max

I got my first bow today and shot over a hundred arrows threw it.
It shoots really good
I had to get a new string for it, mine was to short.

Man that brings back bad memories.

A compound shooter whom I never met, asked me to build him a BBO.

First bow I sent him was broken in the mail, so he said.

I asked for pictures, I could tell it was broken backwards, ok maybe in the mail.

Sent him another bow and he said it broke when he strung it.

I asked for pictures, I could tell it was broken backwards.

So I sent him the third bow along with pictures and a video of how it's supposed to be strung and shot.

Then he finally confessed that he strung the first two bows backwards.

I wanted to shoot him in the face with a shotgun:)

Lmao at you Roy. 'In the face with a shotgun'. That there's funny.

A buddy of mine strung a glass longbow I made him one day after he had a few beers. It was strung backwards. He brought it down from the parking lot and I knew instantly something was wrong. I unstrung it for him so he wouldn't get hurt. He said he tried three or four times up at the truck to get the string on... but finally got it. It didn't hurt the bow that I could tell since it was a glass bow.

I shouldn't have told him. I should have said "Hey draw your bow once for me. I want to see how those limbs bend." Lol
