OKay got some pics with base coats. Needs to cure more.
It is pretty much gray charcoal color.  First a pic of my hand after the build string broke. I think the string slapped it on the right and the arrow on the left. and it hurt.

High on Archery.

Video the spraying process:)

  :biglaugh:   Last thing you want to see is me spraying a bow...  You'll learn everything of what 'Not' to do...  Well it's a done deal... gotta make a string for her and ship her out monday or tuesday...

Nice looking stick there, Stic...  Really liking those tips...  What did you use for the underlying layer??

EvilDogBeast

Great to see so many moving along!

Quick reminder:  Please PM me when you are ready to ship!

Base coats are gloss lacquer. Top coats will be 3 coats of dull Kyrstal. One coat wet and then kinda fog the rest.
High on Archery.

Shredd

Stic...  What I meant was what did you use for the tip blocks or tip laminations??

That's a sharp looking bow Mike. I got my swap bow sprayed up last night, turned out great. I use Krystal in the satin finish.

Finish work is all done. I tweaked the tiller a couple days ago and it looks and feels better. I finished it out with truoil after flying down some ball python sheds, I went with sharkskin for the handle wrap and stitched it in with a round leather lacing. I like how it turns out and the way the handle feels.

   Looks great Kyle...

Get on it Maxie...  Like my Dad would say, "Do you need a swift kick in the a$$ ??"   :biglaugh:

In my haste to paint this bow in the time slot, I forgot to sign it...  :banghead:   Sheesh...  This Indian lost scent of the trail...  Message to Victim, if the area around the fade looks a little blotchy you now know why...
