Is this longbow of comparable draw weight to your recurve?

Roy, it's actually higher poundage than I usually shoot by a bit.

No sweat man. Unless you do some radical limb designs those longbows won't perform with a recurve. The ones I build kinda look like yours and they are really sweet to shoot. If you want a longbow to shoot with a recurve you have to put se serious limb design and curves in it and for me that's not really a longbow lol but to each their own. I like shooting bows regardless of what the populace calls them

I checked that out before I posted Kenny and it didn't look like I was gonna give anything away, I've seen you have to watch ol Roy.

I like the strung profile of the bow I built and it seems smooth to my draw length so I'm not gonna mess with it anymore

Okay got quite a bit done on the victim today  Went ahead and put black and two yellows for accents. This maple gonna be more gray than black.



Got some limbs on it to.  tho may be a B to tiller and map what cha think.
