Hello hope everyone is doing well.

Want to share with everyone a quick guide on how I install HIT inserts and impact collars for .204 diameter (easton axis 5mm) hunting arrows. The added strength and durability with the impact collars is a nice upgrade to have.

I personally like to direct bond the entire component system in this way for my easton axis hunting arrows. The impact collars are made by ironwill outfitters.

Hope this helps anyone thinking about component options for .204 diameter arrow shafting.

Thanks for all the views and anyone who liked the videos. Very much appreciated.

Take care everyone.

Thanks for making the video. I do have a question, it looks like everytime I would want to change points I have to remove the insert?

Mad Bear

Yes M60. I like to build a set of arrows just for my hunting season. I will keep one or two arrows with the appropriate field tips for tuning, practice arrows.

I like the benefit of being able to spin tune my broadheads. When you jam the HIT insert in with the green tool and epoxy it, it may not spin true. Just my findings and info from making a lot of axis arrows.

Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it.
