have any of you used cedar if so how did it turn out? in a recurve making up most of the core. my concerns are it being soft will it hold up. and oils in the wood and glue.

thank you for the info i am going to give the cedar a try.

I think it would make a good core wood. May have to add a little to your stack to hit poundage. I use a lot of knotty red cedar for veneers.

Pretty stuff! Makes the shop smell good too!
