What edge sander  do you have there Canopyboy?

It's a canopyspecial...

I didn't like what I could get commercially. I wanted a longer platten without getting a bigger sander, so I cogitated on it for awhile in meetings where I couldn't pay attention anyhow and came up with that thing. Works well enough...

I made a bit more progress today. It's about 2" shy of full draw. A little sanding and shooting in should get it right on. Well counting on it holding up through the shoot in process. It's taken about 1/4" set with about 1/2" right after unbracing. I'm kinda surprised it's held up with so little set and no chrysalling this far. And I like the mass.

Just curious, it looks flat through this section.

It is a little flatter there than I intended. I was hoping to leave that stiff until the last three inches of draw. And just sand the center into draw weight. The stave is 60" between the nocks for a 27" draw. I like to leave the center a bit stiff when I make a bendy handle longer than a 2x draw weight ratio. I do appreciate all critiques of the tiller.

You must become one with your bow🧘‍♂️.And yes I was glued to it, starbond is a wonderful superglue. Deer antler felt like a fitting overlay material on this one. Though I rarely use it.
