I'm going to A&H shop on Tuesday to try some bows. I have no experience with any of the ACS limbs or bows, but if I'm gonna spend that kind of money. I want to shoot it before I buy. I'm currently shooting short hybrids so not sure how it's gonna all work out. Been trying to research as much as I can. Shoulder problems have me reducing weight so thought I'd try to find the best performance I can in lower poundage. Hope you don't mind me chiming in? Let you know what I decide after Tuesday.

I like the two piece concept as I had a Saxon Mongoose years ago that had a socket system.  The A&H looks like it may be kind of large and shapeless.  How does it feel compared to the one piece?   

So I just got back from A&H. Spent about 2.5 hours shooting an trying bows. It was information overload an a lot to take in. The attention to detail Larry puts into these bows is unbelievable. Shot bows from 58" to 66" weights 34# to 48# pounds right an left handed. These bows performance is top of the line a pleasure to shoot really quite an soft in the hand. The lower poundage really impressed me. If your on the fence about these bows. In my opinion you won't be disappointed. Now I just have to figure out what combination to put together. Larry's shop will surprise most people and he is a wealth of knowledge!!  The technology that goes into his bows and the CNC equipment he has is amazing!!  Plus, he is a heck of nice guy!!  As I am sure he told you, his bows and limbs in particular, are more like a Ferrari than a pickup truck.  They are certainly high-performance, but you have to be the type of person that appreciates that and takes care of them.  The lighter weight the limbs, the more whispy they are.  I had owned several of the 3-piece, but I feel his 1 & 2 piece bows are a little more robust in the limbs.  Best of Luck in your decision!!

I agree with everything said. Very blessed to have made the trip up there. Could of stayed a lot longer. Larry is wealth of knowledge for sure extremely helpful. Although his longer bows perform amazing I decided on a 3 piece 58" now to patiently wait. This won't be the only combination for that riser I'm sure of that. Or the only A&H I own. On top of that my daughter is wanting one now also. This is gonna get expensive, but worth every penny. Stay safe. Mark

I did not try a one or two piece. Being left handed is a pretty big handicap in the Trad world. Sorry can't report on those. I can only imagine there just as great as the three maybe even better? Stay safe .Mark
