Hi all,

Just got the new uukha Altai 2021 limbs in. (for my Black Wolf 17 inches carbon riser)  :jumper: :jumper: :jumper: :jumper:

Do you have any advice for the string material ?

It's for bowhunting (mainly european wild boar)  so silence is the key for me ... but i want a string material that can give me the best of these excellent (but expensive) limbs.

Thank you all for any advice and take care.

Thank you for your answer & your time ROSCO,

However, Uukha is more prone to recommend stuff for target shooting and my question is more bowhunting related.

I used to shoot astro but my sppol is finished now ...

Idea anyone ?

Best regards,

M

Once I use up my BCY-X supply, since it is no longer made, will switch to either BCY Mercury or X-99, Leaning towards X-99 due to vectran helping to stop creep, important in our hot summers on southeast coast USA. You may due well with Mercury for your needs.
shoot straight shoot often

I´ve had nothing but good luck with bearpaw strings and materials. I have their flemish jig and FF string material, if opting for a ready made string go for the bodnik whisper string.
You can only miss in two directions, vertically or horizontaly
