My favorite hunting bow of all time was an older Shrew I had owned for a long time. It along with all the other bows in the cabin went up in flames, the good part is everyone got out alive and for the most part uninjured.
So anyway time for a new one, I spoke with Tim today for a good bit of time and he filled me in on all the improvements.
I have been going back and forth on the 56" Lil Favorite or the 56" Classic Hunter II. Since I value a quiet bow more than anything else in a hunting bow I am leaning to the Classic Hunter II. There are 3 bows in stock that fit my specs for weight and I will be buying one tomorrow.
Here is my biggest question I have a 30.75" draw for all intents and purposes, and I hit that mark 8 out of 10 times if I am excited 31"
Any of you long draw shooters that own one of these bows you input and experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Right now if I had to hit the buy now button it would be the Classic Hunter II

Good luck Doug.  Here I thought you enjoyed your flat bow that broke while horse back hunting.   Sorry to hear about the fire.

Whichever one you decide on let me know what you think.

I loved that Big River flatbow as well Charlie you have a good memory. That one I can never replace the Shrew was always in play when I had them both just a bit easier to live with in a stand or blind. That flatbow was Elk magic

Doug, what weight are you thinking?, the 56" Classic Hunter II is a good choice for a long draw.

Hi there Ron,

Something that hits around 40-45 at my 31" I spoke with Tim yesterday for quiet a bit there are several in stock that I like well enough to buy. Intend to call Tim back in a bit. I have to stay at that weight as I have a floating collar bone and the first 2 ribs right below that on my drawing side, if I draw to much weight they pop under my sternum and that will bring you to you knees. Damn motorcycle accidents.

Thanks for you input Ron that is the direction Tim was steering me as well.

I have been absent dealing with Dr's.
There should be no new bow in my future, until I know more about the length of that future.
Had sent a PM to Ron as well.
