I have a JD Berry Morningstar bow,  about 54 # at my DL of 28.75". Thinking maybe a 2018 in aluminium.  Any ideas will be appreciated.  Oh yes, my string is a D97, 12 strand.

I should have added that the bow is a Hill style,  with a 1/8" shy of  center shelf cut.

3Rivers has a handy spine calculator that will help. I don't know enough to make suggestions, but others will be able to. I've used that calculator to get close

A couple questions, how long do you like your arrows? How much weight you plan on putting up front?

Sirius Black

Arrows an inch,  or slightly longer,  than my DL are good. As far as tip weight goes,  what ever gets me an arrow with 10gpp or more is fine.

Bow not cut to center then your arrows should do or lighter spine 2016-1916. Good luck and let us know how you do.

I go along with the lighter spine. I used 2018 from my 65# Hill style bow. I cut them 29" and used 145 grain points.
